Founder/Partner

A native of Southern California, Paul graduated cum laude from Chapman University where he pitched for Chapman’s World Series baseball team. Paul then attended Chapman University, Dale E. Fowler School of Law, where he was extremely active in Mock Trial and ADR competitions, winning numerous top advocate awards. He gained valuable courtroom experience while externing with the United States Attorney’s Office and the Orange County and Riverside County District Attorney’s offices.

 

After receiving his law degree, Paul moved to Chicago, IL and gained significant trial experience representing clients in all phases of litigation, from inception of the case through post-trial motions and appeals.  While practicing commercial litigation in Chicago, Paul represented clients in multimillion dollar disputes in both state and federal courts, as well as with the United States Court of Appeals.

Moving back to Orange County, CA in 2018, Paul quickly rose through the ranks to become the Managing Partner and chair of the litigation department at midsized law firm where he oversaw hundreds of litigation cases, taking numerous cases to trial or arbitration. Paul has a wide breadth and depth of litigation knowledge that includes:

Prosecuting and defending civil suits as the lead attorney at trial and arbitration in actions concerning breach of contract, fraud, nondisclosure, concealment, HOA enforcement actions, breach of fiduciary duty, nuisance, trespass, and contempt of court, among others.

Conducting all aspects of the litigation process, including
pleadings, written discovery, depositions, expert discovery, motion
practice, trial, and post-trial motions.

 

Representing clients in state and federal appeals, including
drafting appellate briefs and writ petitions and giving oral argument.

 

Counseling and representing clients through pre-litigation dispute
resolution, including informal settlement negotiations, attending mediation,
and preparing settlement documents.
